I have come to the conclusion that whoever came up with the expression ‘no news is good news’ said a rather large mouthful. After having scoured the Internet front and back and seen all the videos of grown men and women who say all kinds of ridiculous nonsense all day long, I have decided that nobody has anything of value to say to me.
I have already lived my life and nothing surprises me any more. I have had a successful life by and large because I educated myself and traveled the world and met interesting people. I studied and worked and played by the rules that some clown made for me sitting in various important places around the world. All these so-called ’smart’ people in their immense cleverness have gotten together and decided how I need to live my life. Everybody is dying to write a script for the life that someone else lives so they can prove how smart they are.
What if I said that I wanted to live my own life the way I see fit regardless of whatever somebody else has to say? What if I decided that investment bankers were a bunch of crooks and I don’t care if the Dow Jones Industrial Average sinks down to a buck fifty I still wouldn’t give them my hard-earned money. In fact, since when did welfare for the ruling class become law? Oh, I suppose that rule was put into place after welfare for poor people was dismantled. The point being that somebody always seems to feel that it is necessary to tell somebody else what to do and how to live their life. To that I say it’s time that people start to wake up and realize that to truly be free you have to live your life the way you see fit and not the other way around.
The problem with living in a free country is that you never know if you are really as free as you can be. Maybe somebody else somewhere else is more free than me. Perhaps I’m just living in an illusion if I think that maybe the men and women are hotter in other countries and have the freedom to live their life and enjoy it. Maybe I along with a lot of other people who comment almost incessantly about the state of America these days are just mourning the fact that their freedom has been taken away from them. Maybe life is always a pleasant situation if only the person living life is pleased with themselves. Has anybody ever looked into this predicament other than some high-minded pseudo intellectuals who seem to think they are the ruling class and everyone has to pay attention to them and to what they have to say? To paraphrase the inimitable George Carlin, it’s bullshit if they say it’s bad for you.
Who are they, and why do they seem to think they have all the answers? Who says I have to pay attention to what anybody else thinks as long as I am not breaking any laws? Who says I can’t be narrow-minded and ridiculously cautious in my daily affairs so that I do not have to make up my mind whether I want to interact with anyone or not? Maybe I’m just not friendly after all and I think Mayberry is bullshit and Ron Howard can take his obsession with Hollywood and stick it where the sun don’t shine. Maybe I think he is one of those abused child stars who never got therapy to get his ass out of that hell hole to save his life. The entire picture of life that was created by Howard and Mayberry was false. The idea that people who lived in small towns were happiest and more friendly is just plain bullshit. Maybe life in small towns is so constrained and subject to consensus rather than a belief in the individual that if given a chance people would gladly go somewhere else. In short, this idea that America is blissfully hard-working, conscientious, and deeply rooted in their communities is complete falsehood. Just look at the mortgage meltdown. What could be more indicative of how desperate people were to get out of their station in life than to bet their own home in order to encourage others to bet theirs as well so that everyone can somehow be lifted up by the mother ship and carted off to God knows where.
The problem with America is that people are living in a man-made fantasy that was created by people whose interests lie with becoming rich even though they already have everything that everyone else who watches their crap would give their right arm for. People are so desperate to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that they are literally willing to destroy their credit, their credibility, the lives and their families lives only for the chance to make it big.
Making it big simply means moving beyond the consumption level where all of us so-called numbskulls live and becoming famous and wonderful just like those douchebags on tv who act like they are God’s great gift to news, information, and entertainment all wrapped up into one. I’m sick of hearing from these people who seem to think they have the right answers to everything. Do these people know anything about my life and what I am going through? Maybe they can make a comment or two about how some asshole flipped me off when I was coming home last night. Or maybe the news can carry the story about how the lady down the street feels free to walk her dogs in my yard making me clean up the crap. Perhaps the news would be interested to know that I am working out these days and feeling good and don’t need any of those heartburn remedies and sexual performance enhancement drugs they are pawning off onto people.
Maybe that’s what the news has simply become - a giant pathetic parade of victims just hoping to be discovered for having that something special that sets them apart from all the other pathetic victims. So that maybe you can have a chance at becoming the rich guy who sits behind the desk and takes aim at all these poor unsuspecting bastards who line up willingly to be shot at by someone who is just as miserable as they are. Enough is never enough when the ego takes control of someone. Being judged is the worst possible sanction to be heaped upon someone when all they have is a very tightly stretched exterior and hardly nothing holding it together. In the case of Mr. Obama, he played on this phenomenon in America like a dream. He played to these people who chanted slogans at the right cue. He gave them what they want, hope in return for nothing more than more hope. If anyone dares think that he will give up the spotlight to anyone else then you might want to think again. Obama is a part of the media establishment that keeps us well-nourished with with messages that contain nothing but ideas that have empty calories - chewing gum for the brain.
America will have to sit back and be forced to watch as the cast of characters whom they elected play their games of fun and fancy while showing us all the way to eternal bliss. They are going to fix the economy and solve the energy crises while making giant ice sheets form again. They will bring the temperature of the earth back into sync with what they think it ought to be. Tra la la la la la, and on we go with the next big show. Meanwhile the ones who have been so miserably abused by the very same people who promise to fix it all up and make it better will just keep on being led to the slop trough where more bullshit is doled out. Another scam comes along and knocks the house of cards down again and pulls the leg out from under your chair. Another case of the people falling for the fox guarding the hen house routine and winding up disillusioned and in despair, humbled and humiliated, confused, hurt, angry and with nobody to turn to. It’s the same old sad story time after miserable time.
How free are people in America? They are as free as they would like to be. They can just turn off the crap and walk away from the bullshit. It’s not easy, but it has to be done if there is going to be any type of sanity in America at all. The great American myth has to come crashing down that somehow we are all smart and gifted and well fed. That our market system never fails us and that despite the cost of health care it’s still the best. Maybe we need to not pay attention to the news because after all there are few real instances where information is really being presented. It’s all about senseless stupid acts committed by seemingly desperate and confused people, which are things that I not only do not understand but do not have an interest in understanding. By doing so that would mean I was as desperate and confused as they are.
I am not nearly as free as I would like to be, but I am at least more than halfway there. I’ve lived my life and seen stupidity that is so thick that only a very sharp knife could cut into it. This is the kind of life that is stifling and depressing. People locked up in their houses drinking and watching tv and whiling away their time on this planet while being simultaneously connected with others in an odd ritual of separation and isolation. Human interaction it seems is only available to the ruling class in which only the right ideas and the right understanding of them is allowed. The thought police are out there, and heaven forbid if you used the word nigger or faggot today. That would be an automatic disqualification for anyone seeking to be known as even remotely relevant.
Freedom is naturally under attack by the ones who want to control the message and the way the message is understood. It is a form of a sickness that encourages people to behave like this, but nevertheless it is as old a custom as time itself. Hitler was great at it, and countless others have given their best at making people believe the way they do. Cults are nothing but a low level form of this mind control, and religion nowadays tends to run a close second to cults. All that religion seems to be based upon is some kind of a global discussion about the role of homosexuals in God’s kingdom. It is as though government and the media are competing with the established cults to ensure that we are to believe that the ones who are outcasts from them such as Barney Frank and Barack Obama are somehow qualified to be on the political stage simply by virtue of a false sense of sensitivity that we are assumed to possess. Whether one is black or gay or any mixture of those two elements, the rules have been set by someone else, and the freedom of gays and blacks to dissent within their own groups has been taken away.
Interestingly, the word nigger has been curiously absent nowadays from the black entertainers ever since Obama got elected. One can only wonder why they were referring to other blacks as niggers in the first place. Gays call each other girls, queens, butches, and bitches, but it is only done in private. What if someone who is gay thinks that another gay person is a bitch? Would expressing that sentiment be the same as a black person using the word nigger?
This is what is wrong about America. All these questions should not even be dignified with an answer or even so much as a thought. My conscience is not dictated by what someone else tells me. If I want to use certain words to describe my thoughts then I will use my own judgment to do so. This is what makes me a human being after all, the ability to think before I act. I reserve the right to say certain things which may be offensive to others but I use my good judgment which I developed over a lifetime before saying them. It seems to be working for me. After all, The Daily Nigger is one such platform where good judgment takes precedence.
I am constantly being reminded by the Head Nigga in Charge ["HNIC"] here at The Daily Nigger that if you type in nigger.com into the Google browser then The Daily Nigger comes up. The reason I am told is because the NAACP bought up all the domain names that had the word nigger in them and parked them so that nobody could use that word on a web site title. Well, I guess they missed this one because I can tell you for sure that the HNIC and I are definitely not connected with the NAACP in any way. I wouldn’t join that organization because I think it perpetuates racism. If one was not a ‘colored person’ and wanted to join then can they be refused? Why would the NAACP automatically assume that anyone who uses the word nigger is a racist? It just doesn’t make sense to me as an America who believes first and foremost in freedom of speech.
There is so little out there for people to read that isn’t biased in one way or another. We felt that the best way to make ourselves be a bit more interesting than the other nonsense out there was by going right to the heart of where this bias is coming from in the first place. Hopefully we have done that here. You have almost 600 articles to choose from at The Daily Nigger. A lot of them are rants, but there is a lot of good stuff here - relevant stuff about the cultural phenomenon that America has become. We are not sitting in judgment of anyone here, and the only thing we ever wanted to begin with was for as many people as possible to wake up a realize what utter and complete garbage is being thrown at them. If Americans really want change then they need to change their own lives for the better and not listen to all this crap about how they need to look, act, talk and even what kind of car they need to drive and what kind of clothes they need to wear. I don’t want to look cool with my i-Pod while I jog down the street. I don’t care if my hair isn’t the latest style or if I don’t have tattoos and piercings. I don’t want to look like I ride skateboards and play video games. I don’t care if people think I am either rich or poor. In fact I don’t want people to get any idea of who I am who are not qualified to be honored with the responsibility of that knowledge. In that regard, if one simply turns the whole story around on itself maybe these people on tv and elsewhere are just jealous of me and are trying to get my attention instead of them trying to get mine. Now that would be news.
