Ever notice that the mainstream media won’t touch the Sarah Palin story with a ten foot pole? Ha ha! Another inconvenient truth, just like the octomom was and Michael Jackson. Except this time the non-story with respect to Palin is the conspicuous absence of the massive picnics being held in her honor as she departs office in Alaska. Watch this video above and notice the line that stretches for as far as you can see on what is clearly a blustery day, and then ask yourself whether these people really wanted a salmon sandwich or glimpse the making of the next President of the United States.

Sarah Palin eloquently draws a distinction between America’s current obsession with money and conversations about race that lead nowhere and how the ones who risk their lives every day for the rights that people take for granted are forgotten.

Palin said, “I said, ‘Oh no,’ it is not a down day – my son called this week from Iraq,” Palin recalled, referring to her son, Track, an Army enlistee. “He is safe, he is sound. It is always a good day when my son calls.”

Interrupting the applause, Palin said: “I wish that some in the media would keep things like that in perspective, what is really important in our country. And what is important is our freedoms, America’s security, our liberty.”

Expect more of this from Palin, and the media will be at a loss for explaining the phenomenon growing around her. She is literally the second coming of the one whom the media crucified to prove a point that America was beyond race. They went so far as to ban free speech, and people are aware of that now. Conveniently, Sarah Palin walks into the role of playing the role of healer. The idea of being a woman who speaks from her heart and not her head as many have unfortunately tended to be of late, is something that the media cannot stand. It goes against all the stereotypes that the media has avoided like the plague. As woman have always known all along, one does not have to sacrifice their values in order to succeed.

Watch as essentially Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton begin sparring. They both know that Barack Obama is mortally wounded now and cannot stand a chance in hell of being reelected. Hillary was all but dictating US foreign policy from Thailand, while Obama was still struggling with a black professor at Harvard and a local cop. Sometimes you just have to say when things have turned to shit, and it’s funny how women do this so well.
