Public relations began as propaganda and was aimed at marketing products and ideas by linking subliminal sexual repression and the concept of liberation. It has now morphed into a method by which war and peace and even political candidates themselves are sold to the masses. Public relations is the unmistakable key element in today’s media campaign in selling the idea of a class of victims deserving of special rights in the areas of hiring, health care, and in the legal system. Public relations is an unbroken chain directly linked to promoting the profits of large corporations and government corruption.
