Without a doubt, Stanley McChrystal is now in the spotlight over the war in Afghanistan. The focus has shifted away from Obama’s inaction to McChrystal himself. After all, it was McChrystal who whitewashed the Pat Tillman investigation, and it still remains questionable to this day as to how the notion of “collaberative warfare” may have played a significant factor in this incident that is officially referred to as ‘fratricide’. This is a fancy way of saying that the mission was a catastrophic failure.

This is Obama’s man in Afghanistan, and as fate would have it McChrystal is trying to whitewash the role that the Pakistani intelligence service (ISI) is having to further the aspirations of the Taliban. In other words, McChrystal is hopping into the sack with some of the world’s most violent perpetrators of violence. Much of what the ISI has been up to has been swept under the rug in the mainstream media with the help of the CIA. The Taliban are simply angry at Pakistan for siding with America, which is the cause of much of the violence in Pakistan. Few would care to broach this subject because the truth about the Taliban would then have to be revealed, which is that they have been working with al Qaeda and the ISI for a very long time.

With Anita Dunn out and a new White House media campaign on its way, the dribs and drabs oozing out about McChrystal are giving signals that his head is going to be on the chopping block soon. Undoubtedly, McChrystal will be thrown under the bus for having let the cat out of the bag about the payoffs that are being made to the Taliban. The Afghan election fiasco was blown up way out of proportion and turned out to be the latest in a series of severely deflated media campaigns, which were at best poor excuses for a distraction. Bets are being taken that the White House is getting ready to go it alone and tamp down the leaks. The spin machine is going to be in high gear. There is little bargaining position Obama has left now that the money trail has been busted leading right up to Larry Summers office and into Wall Street and the hands of the usual suspects in the military-industrial complex.

Obviously these are things which we are not supposed to be concerned about because if the mainstream media doesn’t delve into them then it just isn’t relevant. On the other hand, the facts are what they are, and you can make up your own mind about what is really happening. Much of the violence that is ensuing right now in Pakistan and Afghanistan is being rumored to be the failure of the McChrystal factor, which today still is kept largely secretive and under wraps though word is leaking out as to its catastrophic failure. Expect McChrystal to be in the spotlight more and more as yet another one to be thrown under the bus by Obama…
