… and as of right now, you can add 60 Senators to the list who are expected to vote in favor of the Insurance and Pharmaceutical Industry Full Employment Act of 2009…

Keep this video in mind as you awaken tomorrow morning after the Senate has debated a bill in which Republicans were by and large excluded from shaping. And think about the pharmaceutical industry, which will benefit big time from taxes on imported drugs. And consider the fact that this bill mandates that everyone carry health insurance, which no doubt will also benefit the insurance industry. And consider the taxes on businesses and individuals, who are being asked, er, required, to pay for these transfer payments to big corporations.

And now watch, as the White House gears up to throw Stanley McChrystal under the bus as the media starts smearing him for the failure to contain what was really happening behind the scenes in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The finger pointing has begun in the MSM. Even Oprah, who was once the chief media propagandist for Valerie Jarrett is bowing out. MSNBC is beginning to throw in the towel and actually take on a painful subject like the connections Obama has to Wall Street via Larry Summers and Tim Geithner.

Stories are coming out more frequently in the American MSM about the outright anger that Afghans have against the US. Take for instance this bombing of a marketplace today, which took out 16 people. The target was purportedly a US-friendly Afghan provincial governor.  And then there is this from the so-called “front” in the “war” on the Taliban, which is causing more unrest due to a failed policy of collaborative warfare that you will no doubt hear more and more of as this situation wears on….

No, the MSM will not say a word about Obama’s failure. They will do their best to keep him propped up for three more years. The media will find ways to distract the public into thinking that Obama’s policies are working. And when they must admit that things are not working out, they will find new people to throw under the bus.

Here is Fred Thompson on the subject…
