Hello y’all. Remember me? Your poor old broken down pappy sitting here on the front porch yapping away about all this stupid stuff going on in this here country… Yep, that’s me. And remember this from Obama’s book, Audacity of Hope, where he says that he will stand with the Muslims during times in which the political winds shift?

Well, guess what. Factcheck.org has actually put the good housekeeping seal of approval on that statement, meaning that it is authentic. However, they clarified it as to what Obama meant by it. And here it is:

Actual quote from “The Audacity of Hope” [pg. 261]: Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.

Which means, that if the United States get into a massive war with the Muslim world, which basically it looks like this thing is heading toward, then Obama is going to allow the Muslims of America to move about the country without any fear at all of anything really. And so, what’s to prevent some of these people from crossing the Mexican border, for example? Or maybe flying in from, say, Nigeria. Hmm, what about that? Off to the best hospital in Detroit for burn therapy. That’s where Obama orders his people to be taken.

I just thought you might want to know where your president stands on these issues, because frankly the news media has been wringing its hands and gnashing its teeth trying to figure out what Obama is up to. Hell, just read his goddam book and you can figure it out.
