Jews are used to placing big bets nowadays. It’s as though after the Holocaust nobody really gives a shit what they do, because in their mind no matter what the outcome is it couldn’t be worse than what happened 65 years ago. And so to put it succinctly, there is a whole lot of fucking and fighting going on in Israel as a result of this mindset.
Surely we could sit here and try to pinpoint exactly who is responsible for all these wars and the resulting bloodshed, tears, pain, misery, suffering, uncertainty, ill will, hatred, fear, and destruction as well as the corresponding hopes, anticipations, births, buildings, pride, joy, determination, bravado, encouragement, and success. It’s all one big pile of human emotions erected in an almost inescapably human pursuit of pulling out ones soul by force and flailing it about in an eerie practice of exorcising the ghosts of the past.
And surely I could sit here and talk about my experiences and how I actually dealt with prominent members of groups who were responsible for all this nonsense, but of course first of all nobody would believe me, and secondly even if I did refer to these people who crafted this roller coaster ride through living history it wouldn’t make a bit of difference. Everybody is looking for their fifteen minutes of fame so that they can bask in the limelight and become the great savior of their people, but in the end it really doesn’t matter. People will be people regardless of how much they are pushed and pulled.
I gave up on this whole concept of forcefully requiring people to behave a certain way. The whole process seemed to be curiously bereft of the innate human desire to be free. Of course there is the overwhelming evidence that given half a chance many people would slit your throat in a heartbeat, and this is proof enough that my pie-in-the-sky feelings about freedom just don’t hold water for very long. It’s a tough world we live in, and regardless of religious beliefs the lessons that people take away from the killing fields is that it just does not pay to sit on one’s hands.
There are many ways in which to contribute to the cause of freedom. In my estimation, were it not for the fact that so many Jews live in the United States there would be far less motivation for America to impart its technological military advances on Israel. Yet, alternatively I am aware that there is a very profound contribution that American Jews made to America’s military by way of nuclear physics which saved millions of American lives during World War Two and continues to provide a clear deterrence of America’s foes today. Somewhere down the road of modern history, the Jewish experience got intertwined with the American experience. Call this what you will, but what the world seems to be protesting today is not so much Israel as a country but rather Israel and America as unlikely allies.
I have nothing against Arabs or Muslims. In fact I wish they would wake up and stop hating Jews, Israel, and America so much. I literally pray for them more than I pray for Israel or America, because for some strange reason they are trying to undermine this historic military alliance that is practically welded shut by the memories of one of the worst wars in history. Nobody wants to go back to those days when totalitarianism and fascism was on the march, and one would think that the Islamic faith would reject these ideologies outright, no questions asked. It would make perfect sense in fact that if history were able to be rewound backwards and the Holocaust in fact never happened, then this near maniacal obsession that Jews have with security would not exist today. This is probably why the Iranian government today would like to dispute the fact that the Holocaust happened, because in doing so they would be justified in presenting Israel as an illegal regime.
But of course who are we to think that we can bend history back and warp time on itself and rewind events backwards and make ideas disappear from people’s collective psyche? It is my personal belief that in fact history is winding backwards at a very rapid rate. We are living in a time in which events are coming around again, and the same battles that were fought thousands of years ago are being fought again today. History, I believe, is literally being shown to us again in fast reverse motion and there is really nothing that can be done about it. Call it the great space-time continuum warp or perhaps a black hole that has sucked our galaxy into a vortex in the universe, whatever the case the big bet that is being placed today by Jews is that something very strange is happening.
Events are literally out of people’s control. How could it be that millions upon millions of people can be convinced to reenact the battles that took place thousands of years ago were it not for the fact that these battles are themselves being waged as though boxed set DVD’s of these events were saved from around 1,500 B.C.? I myself gave up on the premise that by my hand alone events can be brought to bear in an historic confluence of ironic symmetry. After having been through the proverbial mill of Israeli history by literally joining forces with those who made Israeli history and furthering their work, I decided to simply exit the high speed game of super-charged human history and let the chain reaction go forward on its own. I consider myself to have done my piece in furthering a mindset that there are forces at play which are unstoppable and which are beyond any human’s control. Rather I see myself as others should also see themselves in this era in which we are all being hurtled at incredible speeds in which history is bending backwards on itself.
You can’t get off this ride unless you check out, which is probably what has given rise to the phenomenon of suicide bombing. People are placing their bets that this big ride we’re on is taking us somewhere that only scholars and texts have heretofore been able to explain in at best vague terms. Nowadays humanity is experiencing extreme pain while at the same time it is being shown things that would have otherwise made humans rejoice. Life is everlasting, and the theory that our actions come back to us is being awkwardly proven to be a reality. Understandably, there is much human resistance to this because it is a lot to swallow given humankind’s need to be able to explain things scientifically beyond a shadow of a doubt. The big bet that Jews are placing is that they are casting their lot with this rapid paced revolution backwards in time, and the only proof there is to show of this is a curious relationship between Israel and America based upon a theory that time unwinds on itself when matter is hurtled through space at the speed of light squared.
People should really think about what is going a little more than the tiny sliver of infotainment that is slipped to them showing the tit-for-tat sniping that goes on in a conflict that is being waged using modern weaponry. Pain and suffering merely underscore the history that made the weapons used in these conflicts possible. Anyone with so much as a tiny amount of intellect can grasp the historic underpinnings of this phenomenon, and once that connection is made it should not take much more effort to understand how as a result events are unfolding on their own.
Mind you, I am a very humble individual. I do not seek monetary gain or recognition. I simply am grateful for the opportunity to live in this age in which the possibility of human awakening exists as never before. Science and belief are joining together to present a picture that is becoming more and more visible to the naked eye. I am profoundly humbled by the fact that hardly no one takes pride in the suffering that is taking place. When I see the pictures of the protests against the violence from both sides, I am gleeful and hopeful that people will take a step back and see the big picture and realize the immensely historic times in which we live. Perhaps we can soon discuss how our world is being driven by forces beyond our control, which may well lead us to an understanding that for the first time ever history can be documented visibly, when ironically no DVD even existed until only about a decade ago.
Excuse me for dreaming aloud, but these are my beliefs because I do believe that all human life is unique and is endowed by its creator to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Perhaps we should simply open our eyes and our hearts and minds to the fact that these are not just words but rather they are becoming a verifiable reality. It’s a giant leap of faith to make, but I did it. It’s a giant bet, but I’m putting all my chips in on this one.
